Charitable Partners Program

What if the Girl Scouts of Riverland Council could earn a minimum of 10% of eBay’s profit every time you purchased something on eBay? Well, now we can! When you are planning to visit eBay to search or make a purchase, you just have to go through the eBay link on gsriverland.inlacrosse.com (NOT “www”). It’s that simple! There is even a “favorites” shortcut for you to set up on your internet browser to take you right to our page every time you are planning to go to eBay. It doesn’t cost you or the Girl Scouts of Riverland Council anything, so why not do it? Remember we can only earn money if you use the link. Tell all of your friends and family that they can help too!

Girl Scouts Need Your Help!

At Riverland Council we strive to do something about the problems facing our youth, and you can help! Girl Scouts provide collectively over 70,000 hours of service to youth in the sixty-five rural communities surrounding the greater La Crosse area - tutoring in academic assistance services, serving as mentors to at-risk children and teens, working with Police Departments to develop programs to help teens to get out and stay out of gangs, initiating new juvenile community service programs, and participating in youth initiatives.

Your donor-restricted contribution to Girl Scouts supports:

- Financial assistance to girls for membership, uniforms, handbooks, camperships, troop dues, and program funding.
- Troop sponsorhsip
- Camp Ehawee and Day Camp operations
- Native American troop sponsorship
- Volunteer training and support
- Southeast Asia Hmong troop sponsorship
- Camp Ehawee
- Volunteer Leader financial assistance

Community-wide support is necessary to sustain and grow our important programs for youth. We invite and encourage you or your organization to join us. We are able to use in-kind contributions such as printing services, financial assistance for volunteer tutors and mentors, computer hardware and software, and items to be used as youth incentives, as well as unrestricted annual contributions and planned gifts.

Why should I provide operating support to Girl Scouting?
United Way funding, program fees, and cookie sales provide some daily operating support. However, it is an adult's responsibility to provide services to our youth. It costs an annual average of $123 per girl to offer the Girl Scouting Program.  It costs $47,000 a year to support one juvenile in a detention center.  Join us today in growing girls healthy and strong through Girl Scouting!
